Help moving a couch
6′-7′ couch needs to go from Alameda to Berkeley on Tuesday evening (after 6pm).
We can do the moving. We just need a vehicle.
Girl with a Truck’s website says “I do not deliver used household goods or furniture from one house to another, even if it’s just a sofa you bought off Craigslist” (which is what this is).
Doherty’s Auto Rental says they stopped doing hourly flatbed truck rentals about half a year ago.
Enterprise has no pickups, and wants to charge more than what we’re paying for the couch for a cargo van.
I don’t have a Zipcar membership.
Anyone here have a flatbed truck, know a friend with a truck, or have any suggestions?
