am looking for books, and I am selling books!

Dear LiveJournal Carleton Students,

You are wonderful and you are my last hope. I am looking for books, and I am selling books!

First of all, here’s what I’m looking for:

Titon, Jeff Todd. World’s of Music: An Introduction to the Music of the World (shorter third version, but I think second version is a-ok too). With CDs.

Charles Brockden Brown, Wieland / The Transformation: An American Tale.
Harriet Beecher Stowe, Uncle Tom’s Cabin / Life Among the Lowly.
Norton Anthology of American Literature, beginnings to 1865 – 7th ed, vol. 1.

Randal, Marlin; Propaganda & the Ethics of Persuasion
Randal, Marlin; Truth and Propaganda
Jacques Ellul, Propaganda
David Nyberg, The Varnished Truth

There will be more after tomorrow, so I’ll add and repost if that’s okay.

I am selling:

Canadian Literature in English, Texts and Contexts Vol.1 – $30

Sky Lee, Disappearing Moon Cafe; $10
Sheila Watson, The Double Hook $10
Gish Jen, Mona in The Promised Land $10
Guillermo Verdecchi, Fronteras Americanas $10
Jacques Poulain, Volkswagen Blues $10
Gabrielle Roy, The Tin Flute $10
Alejo Carpentier, The Kingdom of this World $10
Zora Neale Hurston, Their Eyes Were Watching God, $10
Faulkner, Absalom, Absalom $10
Sarah Jeanette Duncan, The Imperialist $10

I’ll give you a deal if you grab 3 or more of the novels.

Seeing Ourselves, Second Canadian Edition, John J. Macionis, Nicole V. Benokraitis, Bruce Ravelli. $25

Sociology, a down-to-earth approach; fourth Canadian edition $30

A whole lot of texts for Sukeshi Kamra’s South Asian Lit 2 class. I’ll edit and go through later for you. I ended up dropping it & all the books are basically brand new.

All the textbooks are in good condition, and they may have highlighter marks in them. All the novels are pretty much in perfect condition with the exception of some dog ear markings.

Ok, I think that’s it.
