This post serves to euthanize a grammatical question that has repeatedly reared its ugly head in my life, like some rabid dog that no antibiotic or vaccine will cure.
Please, be the doctor I need.
Here’s my issue: Suppose a writer is writing — hard to believe, right? As well-educated, as neurotic, as well-versed as this writer is, however, [...]

Email from the registrar regarding telebears

The Information Systems folks are working on a complete
restoration of all the data that was lost. We do not yet know if
students will be re-waitlisted in their original order. The wait list
function of Telebears has been disabled so the restoration can take

working graduation

Does anyone know where I can get information about working at graduation this spring? I would love to, but I also have to make plane reservations soon and I need to know stuff. Thanks.

Statistics??

Is there such thing as EASY statistics courses designed for complete noobs with no math background?

*dying*

Is anyone else writing research papers for finals right now? I’m working on TWO; one on Dorothy Parker and one comparing masculine and feminine criticisms of The Wife of Bath’s tale. The going is…hellish. Just curious is any fellow English majors are pulling their hair out over finals.

GRMN 061U

Is anybody here taking German 061 by correspondence this spring? I somehow ended up with two copies of the “Reading German” Introduction (the notes that go along with the CD).. Unforutantely for me both are opened so I cannot return one to the bookstore. If anybody is taking the course (or just really desires them) [...]

Co-ops.

Who lives in one, what do you like about it, and what is the noise factor like?
By the by, the ones I’m looking at are Kingman, Davis, and Euclid. I’ve seen Stebbins and CZ and I’m not the type to live in those (though I know people who do and they’re awesome).
